The German Chamber of Commerce in China - Shanghai sincerely invites you to join "Industrial Digitalization in China: Converting Data into Insights and Impact" event series.

This event series explores opportunities to convert data into tangible value for manufacturers and equipment vendors. Sessions are held quarterly, with each session diving into a specific aspect of the topic, ranging from building business cases for data-enables solutions to making “build-buy” decisions about data infrastructure. Events are oriented around practical peer-to-peer discussions of learnings from successes and failures, best practices, and technology trends.

The first session will take place on November 16th at BLD 19 No.55 Chuan He Rd, Pudong District, where we will discuss the following points:

  • How do we determine which data to collect, and which to discard, based on expected value?

  • How do we evaluate data that is primarily valuable to our customers, distributors, vendors, or partners?

  • How do we build businesses cases to justify the cost of collecting, storing, and processing data?

  • How do we find ‘hidden’ value by integrating diverse data sets?

  • What are the real risks of collecting excess data or sharing data across organization boundaries?

Agenda:

  • 13:30 - 14:00 Registration

  • 14:00 - 14:05 Welcome Remarks by the German Chamber of Commerce in China - Shanghai
